- After the 1948 War of Independence, Jews that passed away, were not able to be buried in Har Hazeisim. Rav Gedalya Moshe ben Rav Shloimke, the Zvhiller Rebbe, passed away in 1949. As such, he was buried in a small cemetery, which is today next to Gan Sacher Park.
