- There is a park in Sanhedria, where they found a huge necropolis with over 1,000 burial caves. In one vault they found 63 niches where sarcophagi were previously placed. This led to the connection with the Sanhedrin which had 71 members. However, before the full excavation, this was a known place where Jews would daven.
